Merging standard anime techniques with CG robots, this series is a humorous sci-fi space story. Hibiki Tokai is a boy raised on a no-women planet. The men on this planet go to war with women because they believe they are the enemy, and vice versa. He sneaks aboard a spacecraft to steal a high-tech robot, called a Vanguard, but accidentally gets shot into space. The fleet is attacked by women pirates and, in the battle, the ship that he's on is shot across the universe through a mysterious space warp. With some other men, captured by women they consider the enemy, they all start the trek back across the universe to their home worlds. But not all the women consider men the enemy. One ditsy female, in particular, won't leave Hibiki alone and constantly tries to understand her "Mr. Alien."This manga was published in Japan by Kadokawa Shoten. It's a 3 tankoubon series written by GONZO (who also did Red Garden) and Takeshi Mori, illustrated by Akane Kotetsu.
