Under the sky so blue (Partially) from Amazon: Trigun takes place in the distant future on a deserted planet. Vash the Stampede is a gunfighter with a legend so ruthless that he has a $60,000,000,000 bounty on his head. Entire towns evacuate at the rumor of his arrival. Meryl Stryfe and Milly Thompson are a couple of insurance adjusters ordered to follow Vash around and try to minimize the damage that their insurance company has to pay due to him. But Vash isn't really the one who causes all of the damage. Others who want the bounty cause the damage. Vash is more interested in "love and peace." Yasuhiro Nightow, who also wrote "Gungrave," is the author of the Trigun manga. The first 2 tankoubon are called "Trigun" and released by Tokuma Shoten. Nightow changed publishers after that and had to change the name of the series to "Trigun Maximum" since the old publisher still owned the "Trigun" name. "Trigun Maximum" is just a continuation of the original series, and not a sequel. It's released by Shonen Gahosha in Japan and Dark Horse Comics in America. "Trigun Maximum" is up to 15 tankoubon and is still being released. * Click on size to download zipped file. *
