New world TV Special Death note director's cut: complete ending edition
From the Viz release: Light Yagami is an ace student with great prospects — and he's bored out of his mind. But all that changes when he finds the Death Note, a notebook dropped by a rogue Shinigami death god. Any human whose name is written in the notebook dies, and now Light has vowed to use the power of the Death Note to rid the world of evil. But when criminals begin dropping dead, the authorities send the legendary detective L to track down the killer. With L hot on his heels, will Light lose sight of his noble goal... or his life? This manga is written by Tsugumi Ohba and Yuuko Asami with art by Takeshi Obata. The story runs 12 tankoubon long. This series is published in Japan by Shueisha and in America by Viz. Obata also did the art for Hikaru no Go and Ayatsuri Sakon. In addition to the popular official manga, many doujinshi have been released. There have also been two Japanese-language live action Death Note movies. A third movie, focusing on L, is supposed to be released in 2008. * Click on size to download zipped file. *
