From the Production I.G. release: Saya Otonashi is a high-school girl living peacefully with her family... with one exception: she has no memory of her life except for the past year. One day, a startling event causes her happy life to shatter into pieces.An enemy to destroy, a mission to accomplish... the vortex of an ancient struggle is dragging Saya back to her destiny. A young and handsome cello player in dark clothes appears... his name is Hagi. The moment he hands Saya a Japanese sword, History starts a new course. Will Saya be able to restore her memory, and find her own identity?  The anime TV show came after the movie Blood: The Last Vampire (top image). There is also a live-action movie version (middle picture).In addition to the on-screen adaptations, there have been multiple book versions. The manga that really follows the anime is called Blood+ (bottom image). It's 5 tankoubon long. There are two additional manga series, Blood+ Adagio (or Blood+ A) which is 2 tankoubon long, and Blood+ Yakou Joushi which is a 1-shot tankoubon. Two short light novel series have also been released. All the series are published in Japan by Kadokawa Shoten and in America by Dark Horse and/or Chuang Yi. * Click on size to download zipped file. *
